What size extension can I build without planning permission?
Planning permissions were relaxed in 2019 across England, so, as long as your home isn’t a listed building or located in a conservation or Article 4 area, you can add a home extension up to 6 metres without planning permission or up to 8 metres for detached homes.
Bearing in mind there are over 80 conservation areas in South Somerset alone, dealing with planning permission is an issue no one wants to deal with – apart from us, of course! If your project requires it, our team of experts will take care of the entire process for you.
